TRANSITUS
On the evening of October 3, 2019, members from St. Josaphat Fraternity and St. Francis of Assisi Fraternity joined the School Sisters of St. Francis in St. Joseph Chapel in leading the prayer service commemorating the Transitus of our holy founder, St. Francis of Assisi. The service was a meditation on the death of St Francis as told from his closest friends: Lady Clare, Brother Rufino Lady Jacoba, Brother Angelo, and Brother Leo. A ritual of light concluded the ceremony, whereby all those in attendance came forward to light their candle from the Francis candle, symbolizing that we must make Francis' legacy alive today.
